Celebrating 60 Years of Excellence

Sir Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the World Scout Movement, once said that a Scoutmaster should "never do anything a boy can do." We take this very seriously. Our entire program is run with Baden-Powell's admonition in mind! Our Scouts plan and execute every aspect of our program with adult guidance and support.

Troop 73 is located in the Diamond Rock District of the Chester CountyCouncil. We are chartered by the Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company and meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 7:30 - 9:00 PM.

Scouting's aim is to build character, foster citizenship, develop fitness, and develop leadership. At Troop 73 we accomplish these goals by instilling in the youth a lifetime of values. These values are developing ethical character as expressed in the scout oath and law teaching them the skills and values necessary to grow strong through self-reliance, and empowering the youth to lead and develop themselves as future leaders of the world.
